Introduction
Our client's reporting pipeline ran on scheduled triggers with no awareness of whether upstream work had finished. United Hub replaced time-based scheduling with dependency-driven execution across the platform.
The challenge
Triggers were scheduled across different tools, with no check on whether upstream processes had actually completed. That created latency in refreshes and real operational risk. If an upstream job failed or was still running, downstream reports would pull incomplete or stale data and no one would know. Troubleshooting was manual and reactive, usually starting only after a stakeholder flagged a report that looked wrong.
Our approach
We redesigned the orchestration model from the ground up, moving from time-based scheduling to dependency-driven execution. Each component in the pipeline now triggers only once its upstream dependencies have confirmed completion, across every platform component. That removed the blind spots in the refresh process and gave the team a single, reliable sequencing logic to build on.

End-to-end refresh time cut by half.
Dependency-driven sequencing runs automatically, with no manual intervention during refreshes.
Immediate alerts in both UAT and production.
Refresh cycles are now synchronized with accounting periods.
