Introduction
A manufacturer with more than 10,000 employees had no central source of truth for reporting. United Hub built an end-to-end data platform on Azure and Databricks, with governed self-service analytics on top.
The challenge
The team relied on legacy tools scattered across individual desktops. Report generation depended on manual processes, so turnaround was slow and inconsistent between departments. As the business scaled, this became a risk rather than an inconvenience. Decisions were being made on outdated or conflicting numbers, and IT had no reliable way to audit which data was feeding which report.
Our approach
We designed and built an end-to-end data solution on Azure and Databricks, replacing fragmented spreadsheets with an automated pipeline. Data now flows through a multi-layered warehouse with clear separation between raw, cleaned and business-ready layers. On top of that foundation we delivered a self-service analytics layer in Power BI, giving business users governed access to certified dashboards without depending on IT for every request.
Outcomes
Getting the right report took 14 to 21 days.
Data is now available on demand. Reporting runs ten times faster than the legacy Excel workflows it replaced.
More than 450 hours of manual work saved each year.
Over 15 certified dashboards in use, on a governed data warehouse.
